Toni Kroos, a Real Madrid legend, recently revealed that during his 10-year career at the club, he never considered leaving. In an exclusive interview with Marca, Kroos stated, “There has never been a moment when I thought I wanted to leave Real Madrid. No one at the club ever doubted my quality.”
Expressing his deep connection to the team, Kroos shared, “I really love Real Madrid, in the most realistic sense of this word.” Reflecting on his eventual farewell, he added, “My farewell at the Bernabéu… I will keep it inside my heart forever.”
Kroos also opened up about his upcoming retirement, admitting that it was especially tough to break the news to both Carlo Ancelotti and his son. “The most difficult thing was telling Ancelotti and my son that I was retiring. It’s been really complicated,” he said.
